The Isopo Family is proud to bring Mario’s to Niskayuna- the latest Isopo family restaurant opened in the Capital District area.

The Isopo family traces their history in the food, wine and restaurant business back four generations. John’s mother, Anna Benacquista, and father, Mario Isopo, emigrated to the United States in 1949 from Fontechiari, Italy (a small town between Rome & Naples). They brought with them the family recipes, traditions, work ethic and hospitality that has made every one of their businesses a resounding success.

For over four decades, the Isopo family has owned and operated restaurants and food establishments throughout the Capital District Area. The food has always been prepared by family recipes, the same recipes that John’s mother taught him, in the same way that her mother taught her. Mario’s restaurant was opened with hopes of sharing their family recipes with you. Mario’s Restaurant operates on the Isopo Philosophy: to provide good food at a good price.
